I-80 down to one lane between 7200 West and 5600 West starting Tuesday

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) advises drivers to expect significant delays on I-80 near 6000 West the next week.
Starting Tuesday, April 8, at 5 a.m. I-80 will be restricted to one lane in each direction between 7200 West and 5600 West for approximately 1 week. During this time, crews will be performing bridge maintenance.
“We recommend drivers use alternate routes to avoid delays,” UDOT Region Two Project Manager John Montoya said. “The work we’re doing will add years to the life of the bridge, allowing people to get to where they’re going safely and efficiently.”
