Utah FY 2025 ACIP
2025 ACIP
Below is a breakdown of how the funds collected by the Department of Transportation, Division of Aeronautics are used to promote and sustain aviation throughout the State.
The funding that is used by the Division for airport ACIP projects comes from 2 different sources: aircraft fuel tax and aircraft registration fees. The money that is collected from these two sources is placed into a restricted account pursuant to Utah Code 72-10-110, and is used for airport projects around the State. These funds directly benefit everyone in the aviation community. Funding helps maintain runways, provides FAA grant matches to airport’s who may not be able to meet them on their own, and fund airport projects that do not typically qualify for Federal funding.
