Carbonville Road Trail Study In-Person Open House
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is exploring the possibility of building a new trail connecting the towns of Helper and Price. This project, called the Carbonville Road Trail Study, is part of a larger effort to create a network of trails across Utah.
The goal of this study is to determine if building the trail is possible and to consider any potential environmental impacts. The proposed trail would offer a safe and convenient way for people in Carbon County to walk, bike, or use scooters between the two towns.
UDOT is considering three possible routes for the trail:
– Along U.S. Highway 6 and the Carbon Canal
– Along the Price River
– Along Carbonville Road and Spring Glen Road
The study will help UDOT decide which of these three options would be the best choice for the new trail.
A public meeting is being held to present the locations under consideration.
