The Utah Department of Transportation will replace striping and pavement markings on North Bluff Street and Sunset Boulevard beginning Saturday night, November 1, 2025. Various lanes will be closed each night between 8:00 pm to 6:00 am for approximately two weeks.

During the project, at least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times. Accesses on this route will be impacted briefly. Daytime lane closures are not anticipated.

The contractor anticipates work as follows:

• Begin work on the south side of Sunset Blvd, moving east toward Bluff Street, then south to St. George Blvd.
• Move from St. George Blvd. north on Bluff Street and then east on Sunset Blvd.
• Work on the center lanes throughout the entire area.
• Work on Bluff Street between Sunset Boulevard and the Red Hills Parkway crossing.
• Finish detail work throughout the entire area.

Work will include grinding and cleaning of the roadway, as well as placement and curing of epoxy paints and thermoplastic materials.
