Fly Utah Passport Program
Welcome to the Fly Utah Passport Program! In partnership with the Utah Airport Operators Association, UDOT’s Division of Aeronautics is thrilled to have you embark on a journey across the State of Utah. This initiative invites aviation enthusiasts, pilots, and explorers to discover the State’s rich aviation history, airports, and aviation landmarks.
Program Requirements:
How do I participate?
Each participant will need their own passport booklet. These booklets are available for pick up at the following locations:
- UDOT Division of Aeronautics office, 135 N 2400 W, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84116. On the east side of KSLC.
- South Valley Regional Airport KSVR (pending restock)
- St. George Regional Airport KSGU (pending restock)
Once you’ve picked up your booklet, you’re ready to begin your adventure!

New requirements for the Passport Program are being implemented, effective immediately. Please review the updated guidelines and ensure compliance to remain eligible for awards.
- Flying is required to participate. To receive credit for a flight, you must be Pilot in Command. Passengers are not eligible to log flights for the program.
- You will have one year (365 calendar days) from the start date recorded in your booklet to complete all challenges.
- Photos or stamps are required as proof of each challenge completion. A wallet-size photo (2″x3″) will fit in the passport booklet. If you wish not to print photos for proof of completion, please compile all your photos at the end of each challenge and send them to flyutah@utah.gov for verification, with your name and the challenge you completed in the subject line.
**Any participant who has already collected online check-ins will also be credited the same visits towards the new challenges as long as they took place within the past 365 days (1 year from today’s date). You may skip collecting the physical stamp for the visit you’ve already completed and simply notify us to review the online check-in system upon completion to ensure credit is applied for sites already visited.
