Operations Group
The Operations group carries out the day-to-day functions of the Utah Department of Transportation required to keep the transportation system operating smoothly and safely. The responsibilities include statewide aeronautics operations; equipment purchase, repair, and management; management of motor carrier operations; oversight of the safety for rail transit systems and all public highway-rail grade crossings; traffic management and information systems and improving highway safety and traffic control.
